04/20/2024 - Keep Austin Beautiful Day!

We're happy to join Keep Austin Beautiful on another Keep Austin Beautiful Day! We have a couple of clean-ups happening that day that will be led by two of our Board Members! Click on one of the links below to join us in helping to protect our creeks!

  • South Austin Creek Alliance is hosting AAC Williamson Creek Cleanup at Williamson Creek Central Greenbelt (SACA), led by our very own Rich Mann. This event will take place near Battle Bend Park.

  • While our friends at Central Williamson Creek Advocates  and Creek Adopters, led by our Veep, Anna, will be taking place on Williamson Creek starting at the Emerald Wood Community Garden. Meet at the curb by Emerald Wood Community Garden/Tom Donovan Nature Trail at Williamson Creek Central Greenbelt at 611 Emerald Wood Drive.

    'And if you haven't been to the Tom Donovan Nature Trail before, you're in for a treat! The wildflower meadow there is amazing this time of year.

  • If you would like to do a creek-clean-up project or have some ideas for restoration and conservation in your nearby South Austin Creek, we would love to help.

  • If you need to drum up support for creek advocacy for your nearby creek in need, let us know!

  • Have a kiddo in need of some volunteer hours or scouting group that needs a project? Reach out and we will be happy to help.

04/21/2024 - Bird Streets Block Party! - Mystery Creek/Little Turtle Creek
 

  • Join South Austin Creek Alliance and Friends of Mystery Creek as we celebrate with friendin the Bird Streets neighborhood!

  • Sunday April 21st
    300 Block of Red Bird Lane (Home of Mystery Creek)


    Come enjoy live music, refreshments, meet with environmental advocacy groups, and a Little Turtle Creek Clean-up!

We have lots of opportunities coming up for you to help keep our keep our creeks clean and cared for. 

 
Also, keep an eye out for a possible May Flowers Celebration in late Spring!
